D.PRA is committed to making our website usable by everyone, regardless of ability or technology.
We are committed to providing a positive, inclusive shopping experience. This means we strive to ensure our digital platforms can be used by people with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities. Accessibility is not a one-time project — it is an ongoing part of how we design, build, and maintain our website.
We welcome feedback from all users. If you encounter a barrier on our site, please tell us — your input directly drives our improvements.
Our target conformance level is WCAG 2.1 Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). This standard is built on four core principles — content must be Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust (POUR).
We are currently in the process of auditing and improving our site against these guidelines. While we have not yet achieved full conformance across every page, we are making measurable progress and will publish conformance updates as they are completed.
The following accessibility features are currently in place across the D.PRA website:
All interactive elements — menus, buttons, forms, and links — are reachable and operable using a keyboard alone. Tab order is logical and consistent throughout the site.
All meaningful images on the site include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked with empty alt="" so screen readers skip them appropriately.
We aim for a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text against backgrounds, in line with WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria 1.4.3.
Pages are built using proper semantic HTML5 elements — headings (h1–h6), nav, main, section, article, and footer — to provide a meaningful document structure.
ARIA landmarks, roles, and labels are used to improve compatibility with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver. Form fields include associated <label> elements.
Text on our site can be resized up to 200% using browser zoom without loss of content or functionality, in compliance with WCAG success criterion 1.4.4.
We are transparent about areas where we know our accessibility falls short. We are actively working to resolve each of the following:
Some promotional video content on the site does not yet have closed captions or audio descriptions. We are working to caption all video assets.
Older product catalogue images may have incomplete or generic alt text. We are reviewing and updating these systematically.
Certain embedded third-party components (payment gateways, chat widgets) are outside our direct control and may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. We encourage providers to improve their own accessibility.
